For me, number 2 among all the garnets in the 1975 round today. Ranks just behind the Rendsburger. The most sincere thanks to Stefan, who sent me the sample. I'd definitely never had it in my glass before. 😅 A real board!

#6866 30.05.2026 Relaxing with some samples after bike training. Watching Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet, which I really like a lot. I don't care about the price tag, this is one of the greatest PMs. An intense rum with nice roasted wood, molasses, rubberm varnish, plums, leather, caramel, anise and light smoke. Needs to rest for a good while to really open up and release all its yummy flavours.

A special drop for a special day🎅 Bombastic start with black tea and dark berries. Sugary, elegant taste, beautiful play of acidity which then turns into light bitterness. The finish is slightly dry with subtle notes of cocoa and spices. Thanks for the sample Latscho

Like its big brother. Perhaps a little sweeter, but the same flavor components. Not the spearhead from 1975 but still special.

And primavera is in the glass today, too. One of the rarest rum bottles ever, an alien among spirits—and along with the 1971 Silver Seal, the last unicorn missing from my old Demeraras collection. At the first sniff, Allegri’s Miserere Mei Deus resounds in angelic voices. Bright notes of freshly cut sugarcane, violets, white pepper, juicy plums, raspberry essence, and sour cherries sing in soprano. Beneath them, deep, dark tones vibrate: earth, wet roots, cedarwood, leather, intensely concentrated ristretto, and warmed dark chocolate. Gloria in excelsis Deo! With the first sip, you feel like you’re taking off. This isn’t alcohol—it’s elixir. Sweetness, weight, and richness explode on the taste buds. The angelic voices fall silent, the demons awaken, raging and lingering seemingly forever on the tongue. The sun sets, leaving behind heavy memories of dark chocolate, wet earth, and black coffee. And that’s exactly how you want it. A flavor performance like no other. .
