Some Jamaica funk and caramel barrel notes on the nose, a little thin on the palate, but dark deep barrel and molasses notes, some menthol, a little bitter and alcoholic on the finish. Beautiful, complex blend!

For me, unfortunately, a failed experiment that Rumclub has once again bottled here. I can't really taste the individual components. This rum tastes of everything and nothing somehow. I don't really warm to it.

The Rum Club from Berlin always delivers. This is also the case here. I can clearly taste TDL and some funk from Jamaica here. When I try to taste Reunion, it reminds me of some CDI Savanna Traditionell representatives. The mouthfeel is very pleasant and surprisingly aromatic, with a slight bitterness. The finish is relatively short. Overall a little watery for my palate. I would definitely recommend this rum to any newcomer.

An interesting blend... on the nose I primarily perceive Réunion and Jamaica. It goes together harmoniously. On the palate, the Réunion influence gradually fades and Trinidad asserts itself. That also works. The alcohol is well integrated, soft and easily distributed. For me, Trinidad dominates the finish. A nice blend with a good PLV

When I read a blend of Trinidad, jamaica and le reunion, my expectations where high. It’s like the McMahon meme, you know 😏 Nose: Jamaica: Yes, Trinidad(angostura?): yes probably, La reunion: a hint of some strawberries, but not enough to define. Palate: it’s more on the soft/light side, but same situation as before but with more strawberries notes. Finish: quite short

Some Jamaica on the nose. Then honey and sugar cane juice notes on the palate. A slight metallic bitter note on the back. Solid blend at a reasonable price.

Right up front, it's a nice blend for me, do I like it? I don't know. Jamaica is recognizable, Trinidad is also recognizable, but I'm rather put off by Réunion. Unfortunately, the alcohol is clearly noticeable and slightly bitter at the end. Very short finish. I'm not convinced by the triangulation today. I still have some left in the sample for a second test. Even on the second tasting I can't find any access and deduct another 0.2 points.

Delicious blend that can work well as a "standard sipper". The younger components initially dominate both the nose and palate, but the older side of the blend also comes to the fore with increasing lingering time and adds complexity. A good entry-level rum away from the sweetened options.

Pub Alte Post Witten February 2025. I like this rum club better. It's also fruity on the nose, and we also have spices and glue. On the palate, mainly tropical fruits and some young wood.

Blind tasting, therefore sensibly without the usual photo. Rum seems like an unspectacular starter, relatively drinkable, alcohol quite well integrated (the only preliminary information about the rum was the approximate alcohol content of between 45% and 50%). A rum tasted at the GRF in 2025. Masterclass RumClub. A rather weak nose, fresh and overripe tropical fruits, light wood and a vegetal side, citrus and light esters. The first palate is weak, then the alcohol and aromas rise. The finish is quite short even if the fruit aromas persist. A nice blend, a bit weak and already tiring after the third sip.

Surprisingly fruity, both on the nose and on the palate. There are also light woody notes. It is a fairly complex rum whose individual notes can be relatively easily assigned to the respective countries of origin. These are also well-balanced in the blend. I think the transparency and the lack of additives are great. A rum that is ideal for both beginners and advanced drinkers to drink straight. I'm going to try it myself in a few long drinks and cocktails. Of course, the rum cannot keep up with the usual quality of the single casks from the RC Private Selection. But you shouldn't expect that for the price.

So this is the first longer available bottling from Rumclub. The complex easy sipper or just a blend for mixing? On the nose I mainly sense yellow fruit notes and some mint. But also tropical fruits like pineapple appear after a short time. It drinks very easily and is therefore actually an easy sipper that slides a bit too quickly over my tongue. Also a bit too sharp on the palate. The influences of the three countries can be guessed. Ultimately a blend that should mainly introduce beginners to dry rums, for that it is certainly well suited.

A nice round blend for little money. Pleasant to drink as the alcohol is well integrated. I notice fruit and burnt sugar at the start. Fruity soft in taste. I don't really notice Jamaica funk and mint, need to try it again.

Once again a nice blend from the house of Spirit of Rum. Like some predecessors, again very round and soft, I wouldn’t have thought that three quite characterful countries are included here. The fruitiness of Jamaica contains a spicy TDL counterpart and everything is wonderfully tied together by a nice, round umami note from Réunion. Not a blend for nerds, but for newcomers or occasional drinkers and above all nicely crafted!

Nose and palate not particularly balanced. Alcoholic and bitter notes dominate at first but fade quickly. The finish leaves very nice mirabelle and apricot aromas. Solid!

#5622 30.08.2025 VIP Tasting at the German Rum Fest 2025. Pretty funny blend but not bad at all and the price tag is OK I think. A light blend with nice fruits and spices. A faint burnt and smoky note in the profile as well as some caramel and light chocolate.

A very relaxed every day sipper that you can confidently pour for friends who are less rum-affine. With lots of fruit, complex aromas but also a harmonious finish, it's really fun and very decent for the money.

I have no idea what I have in this jar. Molasses and sugar cane juice? In any case, a hint of mint and a little ester, paired with "Agricole" fruitiness. You can "drink" it brutally well. So not a daily sipper but rather a daily sipper. Definitely something for beginners. Alcohol is not noticeable.... could have had more percentages. A much too short finish at the end....Pity.

Tasting at "Basecamp" on 10.07.2026 Samples from Rum Depot. 👌 🇹🇹 🇯🇲 🇷🇪 Nose on an adventure👃: I sense mint and a clear sweetness. Tongue on an adventure 🥃: I taste a bit of Jamaica. There is plenty of sweetness, tropical fruits. But still too mild to call it "funk". The tail of the story💫: It doesn't quite live up to expectations. Because the blend is really exciting!

For me, this experiment has failed, I can't taste Jamaica, Trinidad or La Reunion here. Just alcoholic on the nose and sharp-edged on the palate. For me, this is the worst bottling from RumClub so far.

Tasted at the Village Fair 2026. Nice and soft blend. Funky notes come through but don’t overpower the taste. Lots of tropical fruits and some minerality. However, I liked the Rum Club Red Barrel much better in direct comparison, so I chose that one.

Tasting at GRF 2025: Fruity, balanced blend with fine wood notes, transparent and without additives. Exciting both neat and in drinks – not single-cask level, but absolutely convincing for the price.

This rum is a great blend where you can always discover new notes. The cask influence with woody notes is always noticeable. The alcohol is well integrated. The longer the pour sits in the glass, the more fruity notes come through. I can't pick out the individual islands. However, it turns into a very exciting kind of flavor competition in the glass. The cask always remains present.
