Probably an Enmore MEC 92. For 46% surprisingly full-bodied. Initially typical Enmore DNA, which unfortunately is overlaid by smoky notes. I think an ex-whisky cask was involved. Really a shame! Over time you get used to the smoky-peaty notes and come to appreciate it. Whisky finish lovers will surely get their money's worth here.

You can sense a great and complex Demerara base. However, the finish or the overall cask maturation kills the profile completely for me. Much too smoky, toffee-like and bitter for my taste. Something for whiskey fans.
