Poured from a bottle that's been open for ~1.5 years and is mostly full. This is a weird one from Alambique Serrano, and it just doesn't do it for me. Ex-Mezcal maturation only consists of 32% of the blend, but man does it dominate. Very earthy and vegetal, overpowering most of what I like about the distillate. Rest of the palate feels disjointed and the rum is overall way too harsh.
