NYC trip rum reviews. This time i am at Paradise Lost. Let this rum sit in the glass. On the nose: Canejuice, Woody, roasted, dark fruits and grapes. Notes from the cognac cask are nicely present. Alcohol is integrated very well. Taste: Grassy, canejuice, peppery. The abv is present, but it is giving the rum a nice body. Littlr bit of cognac cask influence in the body. Could use some complexity. Finish: Typical agricole notes nicely balanced, finishes on herbal note. Cognac cask influence was nicely present on nosing, but didnt stand out on the taste and that drops the score for me, eventhou this rum offered a slightly above standard agricole rums palate
