Cane-juice fans who want an agricole with real wood behind it will feel at home here. Fresh grassy cane, citrus (orange, grapefruit, lemon), vanilla, pepper and nutmeg, over a surprisingly deep oak for just three years. The 45% is gentle and lets the aromas open up. One taster even caught "champignons chocolatés" — chocolatey mushroom notes — in the mouth.

Compared to the other liberations I have tasted it lacks some intensity! The low degree however is really pleasant, and it still retains its unmistakable timbre of citrus, fruit and a noble wood! I would have been curious to hear it at a higher degree!

Alright, here we go, starting the tasting of the mega split Rhum Rhum Libération. 10 rums, this is going to be awesome 🤩 👃 Beautiful roundness of slightly aged sugarcane, herbal freshness and dryness of hay. Beautiful spices, vanilla, pepper, sandalwood. Duo of citrus (orange, lemon) with a slight note of soft caramel. 😋 We find the floral and citrus freshness, supported by a strong woodiness despite the youth of the aging. Fresh vanilla, spices, nutmeg, black pepper. Nice balance and sweetness of aromas. ⛳ Quite short, slightly salty, almost maritime. Quite a lot of fruit too, grapefruit, orange, lemon. Cane dryness well present.

Wooow, it's a great juice. Nice nose, flattering, and an explosion on the palate. The low alcohol degree is not disturbing and lets all the aromas of this rum come through. I like it a lot. And the length is great ❤️

A richness and complexity unsuspected for a "simple" 3 years. Notes of chocolatey mushrooms quite unique on the palate. The best Libération reduced to my taste buds, even if the ranking is tight.
