#5129 01.03.2025 tasting at Whiskymessen.dk 2025. Nose Light, sweet, light wood, vanilla, light honey, faint coffee, light chocolate, dried fruit. Palate Light, sweet, light wood, light roasted, light caramel, faint cherry, faint coffee, light chocolate, raisin, vanilla. Finish Medium long, sweet, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, light chocolate, light caramel, vanilla.

Actually quite satisfactory this rum. You definitely have spices in nose and palate (nutmeg), but by no means as bad as in a spiced rum. Also wood and the cask come through.

For little money, quite a lot of music. Can be drunk alone. Also with cola. Probably the best low-cost rum.
