And then, in memory of our Caribbean vacation, a few more Agricoles :) Yeah, this one is really top, very tasty. Definitely very spicy and also toasty. Vanilla is also noticeable. Very delicious.

Clear agricole on the nose. Fresh spiciness, immediately pleasantly woody, a hint of honey, black tea. Some fruity notes of dried plum linger. On the palate a bitter, almost salty wood tone rolls in but quickly a sweeter taste of cola and black tea joins. The finish stays longer with something bitter, earthy, hay. At the very end almost some asparagus. This one has only 40%, but it's surprisingly aromatic and spicy. Surprisingly good.

Le Reimonencq Millesime 2009 Cuvée Fernand’Or. Distillery not the most known in Guadeloupe, it has the specificity of making these rums only from fermented cane juice! Mahogany color, you find the olfactory intensity of Reimonencq. Woody, spicy with touches of strawberries. With this amazing nose, you want to dive in to taste it. On the palate it's licorice and spicy-metallic on the tongue. It's nice but I admit the nose is nicer than the palate.
