Quite reserved on the nose. Slightly fresh and lemony, but somehow also green and vegetal. A slight spice of already evaporated tobacco. Spicy and herbal, unfortunately also a bit watered down and thin. Very light ester notes, but more green tea and a hint of chocolate. In the finish, something remains that reminds me of green leaves. Entry-level, for me a bit thin, but has a good play of aromas...

Knowing my Barbadian rums I started by resting this one for 15 minutes so that it could release all its flavours. Clearly a Bajan rum but slightly modified and I like it. Sweet and spicy at the same time with fruits and a hint of the barrel. Would have loved it to be older and with a higher ABV (50% as a minimum).
