Rather successful as a Foursquare, despite a somewhat upfront initial attack. With good aeration, it brings a lot of softness and is quite expressive. It's a bit different from traditional Foursquare. Personally, I like it, it's pretty well made 😍

Foursquare is a distillery from Barbados producing amazing rums for everyday sipping. It’s a rum especially appreciated by rum lovers who are fed up with sugar and looking for a gentle, sweet rum full of coconut, vanilla, chocolate, and caramel. Simply pleasant and not aggressive flavors.

To start the weekend, a quick review of the Foursquare bottling from Rhum Attitude Brussels: a 2012 vintage at 65.9% Round-pastry nose: taste of honey-brown sugar and flambéed banana. The attack on the palate is frank and powerful. The molasses is there, nutmeg and wood. The finish is pleasant but less surprising than the first mouth. Nice selection but in my opinion it deserved a slight reduction. As often with Foursquare, a quality product. Nose: Typical from foursquare, toasted coconut but yet alcohol goes through, Taste: Alcohol is present, leather, light wood and coconut Finish: Short to medium, woody and a bit spicy Overall a nice Foursquare, reduction would have been better (but not possible with the distribution format) and with a nice value
