Sehr mild und angenehm in der Nase. Wirkt hauptsächlich überreif, süßlich und leicht medizinisch. Wirkt deutlich runder, aber dadurch auch weniger charakterstark in seiner Herkunft als andere Jamaikaner. Am Gaumen sehr dunkel, aber vor allem auffällig dick und ölig für seine Prozente und Preisklasse. Etwas Ester aber vor allem würzigere Noten und dunkles Holz, generell etwas 'fermentiert'. Mag ich deutlich mehr als die klassischen Einstiege ins Thema Jamaica.

Bellamy tasting. A nose full of ripe fruit and funk. Very Jamaican with young wood. The palate doesn't live up to the promise of the nose, with a not very pleasant bitterness, fruit and yoghurt. The wood is a little more pronounced. The finish is short and the rum too diluted for my taste. A fine nose, but neither the palate nor the finish live up to the nose's promise.

Nase: ganz leicht tropische Früchte und ein klein wenig Ester. Clarendon ist erkennbar Mund: indifferenziert, die Aromen aus der Nase sind da aber nicht sehr deutlich Abgang: wieder deutlicher: tropische Früchte und Fass nebeneinander Naja, haut mich nicht von Hocker. Vor allem der Geschmack ist zu dünn.

Ein ordentlicher Rum, der sich ganz gut pur trinken lässt, dessen grünstichige Frischholznoten mir aber auf Dauer ein wenig zu herb sind, weshalb er mir als Mixer deutlich besser gefällt. Insgesamt aber ein guter und günstiger Einstieg in die Aromenwelt Jamaikas.

Seher schönes preis Leistungsverhältnis. Rundum ein. Schöner jamaikaner. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist das zu wenig Prozente hat und somit nicht lange auf der Zunge bleibt sondern schnell weg ist.

Whisky & Rom Festival 2023 28.10.2023 This is a retaste and I still think it's pretty decent. Notes. Now this one is better than the others. Nice esters and fruits with a spicy touch. Love the natural sweetness. There is a faint caramel note in the profile.

Nicht so mein Fall. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist schlecht. Die fruchtige Note kommt durch aber nicht zu heftig gleiches trifft auf die Würze zu. Es fehlt irgendwie etwas besonderes für mehr als eine 7. Für Einsteiger okay, aber der Preis passt nicht.

very round, beginner-friendly Jamaica rum. the typical pineapple mango notes from Long Pond harmonize perfectly with the butyric acid, yoghurt notes from Clarendon. the whole thing is nice and dry and complex and at a very fair price 💯🇯🇲

There is a lot of fruit on the palate - pineapple and mango, but also a little sweetness and banana. There is very little wood present. The finish is not too sharp, but something is missing here, because the aromas disappear very quickly.

Interesting spiciness woody, oaky aroma with reminiscent of chocolate tones of dominican republic. Young jamaican rum. Taste is nice but nose is kind off a let down. Very mild and diluted. I am not impressed.

Ein weiterer günstiger Jamaikaner für den einfachen Einstieg. Mir persönlich war der Rum etwas zu süß und die für Jamaika typischen Ester Noten wurden dadurch etwas überdeckt. Von der Konsistenz recht ölig.
