Very nice price-performance ratio. Overall a nice Jamaican. The only downside is that it has too little alcohol and thus doesn't stay long on the tongue but disappears quickly.

The typical pineapple mango notes from Long Pond harmonize superbly with the butyric acid, yogurt notes from Clarendon. The whole nicely dry and complex and at a very fair price-performance ratio 💯🇯🇲

Bellamy tasting. A nose full of ripe fruit and funk. Very Jamaican with young wood. The palate doesn't live up to the promise of the nose, with a not very pleasant bitterness, fruit and yoghurt. The wood is a little more pronounced. The finish is short and the rum too diluted for my taste. A fine nose, but neither the palate nor the finish live up to the nose's promise.

There is a lot of fruit on the palate - pineapple and mango, but also a little sweetness and banana. There is very little wood present. The finish is not too sharp, but something is missing here, because the aromas disappear very quickly.

Whisky & Rom Festival 2023 28.10.2023 This is a retaste and I still think it's pretty decent. Notes. Now this one is better than the others. Nice esters and fruits with a spicy touch. Love the natural sweetness. There is a faint caramel note in the profile.

Nose: very slight tropical fruits and a little ester. Clarendon is recognizable. Mouth: undifferentiated, the aromas from the nose are there but not very clear. Finish: clearer again: tropical fruits and cask side by side. Well, it doesn't blow me away. Especially the taste is too thin.

This Jamaican from Bellamys is nicely fruity on the nose but then a distinct wood note comes through in the mouth which I find very unexpected. It's not the fruity Jamaican rum but it's not wrong per se if you want less esters in the mouth.

Not really my thing. The price-performance ratio is bad. The fruity note comes through but not too strong, the same applies to the spiciness. Somehow it lacks something special for more than a 7. Okay for beginners, but the price doesn't fit.

A decent rum that can be enjoyed neat quite well, but its greenish fresh wood notes are a bit too harsh for me over time, so I prefer it as a mixer. Overall, a good and affordable introduction to the flavor world of Jamaica.

Bellamy's tasting: The first smell that flows to the nose is hard to define fruity, musty, grassy. In the background vanilla and wood, with the woody always becoming more present. Tropical fruits prevail in the long run. Taste-wise very mild and soft. The body is very thin and feels watered down. A mix of light sweetness, tropical fruits, spice and wood. The finish is short. This bottling doesn't really convince me. The rum is too young to offer sufficient aromatics.

Price-performance ratio is just right here. Bought for 35€ and for this it's a decent entry-level rum and mixer. Brings Jamaica flavor on the nose and also clear cask notes on the palate with 43%. Slightly alcoholic on the palate, but this tasting was right after opening. Overall satisfied, it will serve its purpose.

Another affordable Jamaican for an easy entry. For me personally, the rum was a bit too sweet and the typical Jamaican ester notes were somewhat overshadowed. Quite oily in consistency.

Very mild and pleasant on the nose. Mainly feels overripe, sweetish and slightly medicinal. Feels noticeably rounder, but therefore less characterful in its origin than other Jamaicans. On the palate very dark, but above all noticeably thick and oily for its proof and price range. Some esters but mainly spicier notes and dark wood, generally somewhat 'fermented'. I like it clearly more than the classic entries into the Jamaica topic.

On the nose overripe fruits, esters, lots of wood, some vanilla, some grass; on the palate tropical fruits, overripe bananas, notes of sherry, wood, with a mediocre finish, one of the better Bellamys but not a must-buy.
