Yes, that's how I imagine a successful Demerara. It welcomes you with a heavy sweet nose, I smell candied fruit, roasted almonds, fine baking spices, a little anise, glue and nougat, full marks in the category round.👍🏻 The 66.9% can't hide,still well integrated for this strength. Burnt sugar,roasted barrel,pepper,almonds,accompany you to the rather long finish. Top rum, I would have liked a bottle of. Addendum: even longer airing he loses quite a lot of flavors on the palate, therefore 0.2 points deducted.

Alcohol logically a little more present than its optimum proof twin. Caroni markers a little less present than on the Marrons de la liberté series, but still very good.
