What a great bottling 🥹 Awesome nose with some delicious notes of various fruits, floral, tobacco and chocolate, cherry wood notes. On the palate: A perfect mix of mint, black tea, apricot, sour cherry, anise. Finish: Quite long delicious with a cool cappucchino note 😏 The alcohol is integrated very well.

This is a very strong and intense Diamond. In addition to subtly perceptible red fruits, spice, wood and herbs dominate first and foremost. This also leads to some bitterness, but this is still acceptable. Overall a good Diamond, but unfortunately the alcohol is not so well integrated. That just costs points

8,7:On the nose, roasted wood notes like chocolate, caramel, charred, coffee, roasted nuts, spicy with umami, medicinal, thick molasses, dried fruits like raisins, dates, black currant, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, molasses is dark with licorice, vegetal with soy sauce, celery, floral, earthy with tobacco, sour cherry, dried apricots prunes, plums arise, metallic patina, nuts, burnt sugar, spicy with allspice, nutmeg, winterly. 8,6:On the palate, the attack is intense with roasted wood notes like caramel, nuts, coffee, spicy with umami, salty, tannic, fruity with dried apricots, raisins, prunes, some tropical fruits, black currant, sour cherry and citrus fruits, molasses is thick, dark with licorice, minty, vegetal with soy sauce, herbaceous. 8,7:The finish is long, dry&tannic, round, dark, slightly medicinal, fruity with dried fruits and cherries, quite bitter with floral molasses, as the oak is roasted, charred, spicy. Quite heavy and spicy both on the nose and on the palate. Wood, molasses, licorice, caramel + malt. Quite dry overall. Fruity notes are only subtly present. I like it and it reminds me of the bottling for Bar1802.

Fruity, dark chocolate, coffee, dark, slightly burnt caramel. In addition, a marmalade sweetness and some wood. The rum then turns to bitter caramel in the finish. Nevertheless balanced with well-integrated alcohol.

A beautiful, middle-aged Diamond. A good cask, dark red fruits (especially in the nose) and a hint of molasses create a rather bitter impression overall, but this is well integrated into the rest of the aroma and therefore does not interfere, but rather delivers a rum that reminds me of the (moderate) KFMs. Of course, this Diamond is a different house number, but it is still a good rum in its own right!

Tasted at the 14th German Rum Festival: red fruits meet roasted aromas, plus green herbs. Noticeably tannic but not bitter. Complex, well-balanced, and absolutely recommendable. Very pleasant.

Delicious Diamond. In my opinion, it needs at least 30, preferably 45 minutes in the glass to unfold. On the nose, dark dried fruits, leather, tobacco, chocolate, and a bit of blackcurrant. Alcohol is very well integrated. On the palate, heavy, oily, sweet—that's the first sip. Dried fruits, rock candy, apricot, hazelnuts, and molasses... a bit of coffee and dark chocolate.

Picked up as a sample at the German Rum Festival. Red fruit dominates, accompanied by a pronounced roasted aroma. On the palate, a few impressions of green herbs add to the experience. The whole thing is quite tannic but by no means too bitter. Nice variety of aromas. A successful selection that is recommended.

#5542 09.08.2025 Relaxing with a few samples while my wife is at the gym 😊 Nose Fresh, wood, light roasted, fruity, light vanilla, light caramel, light chocolate, faint mint, light plum. Palate Round, wood, fruits, light prunes, light tobacco, light mint, warm, light coffee. Finish Medium to long, wood, light roasted, light prunes, faint chocolate, light mint. Empty glass Vanilla, light chocolate, prunes, light caramel, Needs to rest for a good while to really open up. ABV integration is pretty good.

Tasting at the fair... Nice surprise: a tasty Savalle. I like it a lot. Lots of molasses, tobacco, dried fruits (apricot), dark berries. A bit burnt in the finish (in a positive way). Great Savalle.

Great new Diamond! Super nice intense cassis note on the nose, which continues on the palate and is complemented by dark chocolate, apricot, mint, smoky and umami notes. Another great pick from nobilis!

On the nose: Woody notes and dark chocolate notes. Tobacco and spices notes are there too. Quite dry . The abv is there but surprisingly mild for a high abv rum Taste: Now the high abv is present and it can be too much for some. Woody, roasted and coffee notes. Herbal and nutty notes in the body. Finish: First cappuccino notes with some bitterness. Then it opens up to menthol notes. Finishes off with dark chocolate notes and its dry. Long finish. I would say that the finish is where its at with this rum. Not a instant fan but after a few sips, i think its a great rum for sure.

Spicy, woody Diamond. The tannins in the cask work very well here, making it come across very intense, unfortunately the ABV doesn't quite keep up, a subtle bitterness is noticeable but not disturbing.
