Coconut is the surprise here — it shows up on the nose and carries through, alongside light wood, spice and a touch of dark chocolate. Several tasters clocked it as unmistakably Foursquare even blind, dry and straight-lined with dried fruit and a medium-spicy finish. #4750 22.06.2024 Nice tasting afternoon and evening with Hannes at the shop in Odense. Nose Fresh, light wood, coconut, spice, light caramel, raisin, faint leather. Palate Oily, fresh, light wood, fruity, dried fruit, spice, light caramel, light chocolate, light spicy. Finish Medium long, light wood, medium spicy, coconut, faint roasted, raisin.

Tasting 04.07.2026 RX 20894 Foursquare. Gift from Mr. Kevin Sørensen. Nose: Nice cask, coconut and chocolate. Palate: full-bodied, slightly sour fruit. Caramel chocolate and lightly spiced dried fruit. Soft and pleasant “steady” Foursquare. Glass: slightly sweet cask. Tasting “In the cave”

I just loved it. In the last Odense tastings - pure coincidence - we tried our way up from Jung (Single Cask Nation) to 16yo (Milano Rum Festival & Maltbarn) to this 17yo and they just keep getting better and better. Great FSQ

On the nose, frankly, I wouldn't say Foursquare but rather an old Jamaican low ester maybe. The fruits and wood are there; the spices too, still a bit of alcohol. I don't find the finesse and softness of a Foursquare. On the palate, you follow this line with a bit of coconut in addition and maybe dark chocolate. It remains quite straightforward, no surprises, medium+ length.

Good Foursquare. Decent nose and good palate. Fairly regular, I would recognize it even without reading "foursquare" on the label. Peculiarity is some floral notes that stand out on the palate. Good finish and quite persistent.

Full FSQ taste, I like it ... Foursquare is a distiller from Barbados producing amazing rums for everyday drinking. It's a rum that will be appreciated especially by rum drinkers who are fed up with sugar and looking for a smooth, sweet rum full of coconut, vanilla, chocolate and caramel. Just pleasant and not aggressive flavours.
