8,4:On the nose, esters first, glue second, as fruits are pineapple, green apple, raspberry and banana.A wood is roasted, molasses grassy, later comes hay. On aeration, honeyed pastry and some spice arise. 8,3:On the palate, the attack is full of esters, with overripe pineapple, banana and red fruits, as the wood notes are roasted, like crunchy bread, spicy vanilla, cream toffee, perhaps nougat, very tasty, as the molasses is vegetal, herbaceous, earthy and swimming in honey. 8,4:The finish is long with tasty roasted wood notes like crunchy bread, nuts, brown, caramelized sugar and spicy vanilla, as the fruits are berries and banana, molasses vegetal, honeyed.. Exciting nose of tart, sweet raspberries, roasted marshmallows, marzipan cream and cocoa. The palate is also sweet and tart but pleasant to drink. No disturbing smokiness and no excessive acidity. Floral, slightly sweet, slightly woody and bitter on the finish.

The most beautiful nose, complex, floral, with esters, honey, pineapple, raspberry and vegetal. A touch of dust. The palate is no slouch, with herbal sweets, esters, floral honey and a bitterness that makes you want to come back for more. The most beautiful finish, long, elegant and complex. An almost accomplished rum with only one year of cask ageing, except for a slight taste of wood dust.
