8,2:On the nose, esters bump in, tropical fruits are fermented, there is also some citrus, a wood is roasted, spicy with vanilla, as a molasses is herbaceous. On aeration, molasses brings some tobacco and pleasant caramelized nuts appear. 8,3:On the palate, the attack is pleasant with dried and tropical fruits, on esters, the wood is smoky, roasted with caramel, spicy with vanilla, as with some rest, the fruits become candied, covered in honey.The molasses is vegetal, as some citrus pop up. 8,1:The finish is long with smoky, roasted wood notes and tropical fruits.. The nose is fun at first with notes of grilled pineapple and lightly fermented esters. On the palate then somewhat sweetly caramelized but also much smokier than expected. Unfortunately, there is also a persistent plastic gasoline note here that bothers me a lot.

A fermented nose like the unaged version with esters, young woods and fresh pineapple. The first palate is watery, a pity to have lowered the ABV, especially for marks less rich in esters. The fruits follow but are discreet. Here too the palate is held back compared to the unaged. The finish seems less woody and the wood is a bit better integrated than for the OWH and LFCH.
