A.H. Riise Old. St. Croix Explorer XO (German exclusive) 2024
Expect a dessert in a glass, not a rum. The nose is caramel, chocolate and burnt sugar with a hint of popcorn and almond; the palate hits with big sweetness and tropical fruit that lingers long. Several tasters call it more liqueur than rum — soft, syrupy, and easy. Sweet-tooths enjoy it; anyone chasing rum character will feel it buried under sugar.
The community says- Rich caramel-chocolate nose
- Soft and easy
- But: Very sweet

How does A.H. Riise Old. St. Croix Explorer XO (German exclusive) 2024 taste?
Aggregated from 24 community reviews.
Very sweet, more dessert than rum Loved by sweet-rum fans and dismissed by others as liquid dessert. Caramel, tropical fruit and burnt sugar dominate so heavily the rum itself nearly disappears. Reads more liqueur than rum.

If you are into the sweeter rums, this version can certainly be a hit
