Had à bit of “wet basement/carboard” in the nose that reminded me of a LBI bottle, but in a good way.

Je n’ai pas pu résister à l’ouvrir. Le nez se dévoile avec une certaine retenue, mais il laisse entrevoir des arômes subtils et intrigants. En bouche une belle longueur s’installe, soutenue par un alcool à 62,5% Vol. parfaitement intégré, qui ne domine jamais le palais, mais le structure avec élégance.

Nez gourmand. Du fruit et un boisé bien présent. En bouche, l'alcool est mordant et le bois omniprésent. On retrouve le caramel présent au nez ainsi que des épices piquantes. Belle longueur sans évolution particulière. On reconnaît la trame de La Réunion mais le côté pâtissier m'étonne. Pas ce que j'ai goûté de plus abouti chez Savana.

Masterclass Savanna RCP : Un nez sublime, sur le caramel, la violette, le savon, et le fruit de la passion. Une bouche nettement en dessous, avec une astringence qui m’empêche d’apprécier ce rhum. Dommage car le nez était prometteur.
