Review by cigares
Blind tasting of Ron del Artesano. A peaty whisky nose that I don't like, at least not on a rum. This aroma dominates everything, and the fruits and even the wood are relegated to the background. The palate is also much too marked by the ex-peaty whisky cask, although clearly more pleasant than the nose. The finish is short and at the end it seems I've drunk an Islay whisky. But where is the rum?
