Dégustation au Rhum Fest 2025. Un Rhum blanc agricole de Madère bien inhabituel, en brut de colonne et fermentation naturelle. 👃 & 😋 Beaucoup d'intensité, d'arômes de canne, de consistance et de complexité. Notes amyliques de citron acidulé, de bonbon à la banane, notes métalliques (de l'appareil de distillation ?), fraîcheur de canne, côté herbacé et frais évident, poivre, canne endémique assez terreuse.

very special and fierce. Cheese and a lot of musty, austere, metallic and sour vinegar / compost notes on the nose, later discreet banana, honey and blackberry in the background... taste then also very strict, much acidity, metallic bitterness and slightly salty. in the finish then some grapefruit, banana and blackberry, but there you have to concentrate very much on it and perceive the notes. something borderline in my opinion... in the daiquiri dominates then unfortunately this cheesy, very metallic and compost-like note... I do not like well...

Great and unusual white rum. Many floral and fruity aromas, which come despite the high alcohol content round. Especially on the palate it reminds me strongly of (high-quality) grappa. Again, a good example that even re-aged rum can be very exciting!
