An der Nase nehme ich dunkle bittere Schokolade wahr, umhüllt von alkoholischer Schärfe! Ganz leicht noch etwas Vanille! Am Gaumen das Gefühl als wenn ich in eine stark in Alkohol getränkte Rumkugel beißen würde (ähnlich dem Flensburger Rumkontor)! Anfangs noch sehr lecker, folgt dann aber eine alkoholische Schärfe, die einem jeglichen Geschmack nimmt… danach folgt nur noch bitteres altes Holz, ebenso im Abgang! Schade, der Anfang war vielversprechend!

Ich hatte die Theorie, dass dieser Rum ein Ten Cane sein könnte. Die habe ich schon beim Abfüllen der Samples verworfen. Die Nase ist super jung, sehr unreif, stechenden Alkohol - der immerhin etwas verfliegt. Spanisches Profil ohne Tiefe. Die Substanz ist für einen so leichten Rum gar nicht so schlecht. Im Mund ist außer Alkohol leider noch weniger los als in der Nase. Das war nix. Keine positive Überraschung aus dem nichts, sondern bestenfalls ein Fassstärke Mixer wenn der Don Q 151 leer ist.

Ich kann diesen Rum nicht viel abgewinnen. Der Alkohol ist sehr präsent und ich entdecke daneben wenig andere Aromen. Ein Ten Cane ist es meiner Meinung nach definitiv nicht. Der Rum ist zwar günstig aber wie fast überall gilt auch hier: you get what you pay for
