Aroma visualization from community tastings
Valinch & Mallet South Pacific Single Cask FSPD 2004
Sipped neat at 58.5% it comes on hot and herbal — one taster is "pretty forward on the alkohol," with vanilla, anise and dried raisin behind it and a peppery, leathery edge. This is a single-cask Fijian pot still, so a few members expected more of the burnt-plastic funk the mark can throw and found this one cleaner. Spicy and best in the evening.

The look inside the bottle
How does Valinch & Mallet South Pacific Single Cask FSPD 2004 taste?
Aggregated from 10 community reviews.
Hot, spicy Fiji pot still, herbal and dry Well-liked but divisive: fans call it sharp and wonderfully spiced, while one funk chaser found it tamer than a Fiji pot still should be. An old fashioned tames the heat.

I have had a short break from tasting because I felt like 2-3 days a week with tasting was a bit over the top. Back in shape again and we had a wonderful evening yesterday.
