Whisky Fair Rhein-Ruhr Düsseldorf April 2026. Muss sagen der gefällt mir ganz gut. Whiskyfinishes sind auch nicht so meins, aber dieser ist sehr rauchig und scheint auch peated zu sein, jedenfalls ist Torf erkennbar.

When poured into the glass you only smell whisky, but that quickly fades. There was still hope 😅 Then the taste hits again with the full blast of whisky, with lots of honey sweetness. The same in the finish and also very alcoholic. Not my thing at all. Maybe the rest as whisky/cola.

Unfortunately, I don't particularly like whisky finishes. This Laphroaig finish no longer lets you recognize the base spirit. Completely over the top.

OMG - it has nothing to do with rum. But it is nice Laphroaig. And I love Laphroaig :) Ok, maybe it has little bit sweetnes of rum

Der Geschmack verändert sich mit Oxidation! Der Whisky dominiert. Ich habe das Glas 24 Stunden stehen lassen. Der Whisky erschlägt immer noch alles andere. Kein Anis, keine Oliven, keine Salzmarke. Morant kommt gar nicht durch. Nachtrag nach 1 Monat Oxidation: Deutlich weniger streng und eher Süß. Berichte in 30 Tagen nach.
