Review by cigares
A rum tasted at the German Rum Festival in 2024. A pleasant and fruity nose but without esters. Quite different from other Corubas already tasted, denser, less expressive, less Jamaican, more Demerara. The palate resembles the nose's characteristics, but what made the charm of the other Corubas, the rum raisin and Jamaican ice cream side, is almost absent here. It is replaced by heavy and dark, boring aromas. In the finish, clearly Jamaican notes finally come through.
