Red Heart Jamaica Rum (Henry White & Co‘s London)
Tropical fruit, pineapple and warm spice hit thick, with dried fruit, caramel and a thread of varnish underneath. At 73%, this Jamaican vintage is pure power — most tasters say the alcohol sits surprisingly well, though a couple find it too hot to fully relax into. One reviewer called it "a real beast." The aroma hints at it; the palate is where the full force lands.
- Intense tropical fruit
- Power well-integrated
- Long warm finish

How does Red Heart Jamaica Rum (Henry White & Co‘s London) taste?
Aggregated from 12 community reviews.
Powerful, fruity high-proof Jamaican A high-octane Jamaican most found intense and well-integrated despite the strength. A few caught too much alcohol and a sharp, slightly bitter back end, but the spice and tropical fruit win people over.

Wow, this has real power - but the alcohol is perfectly integrated. Excellent vintage bottling! A highlight for me at the 13th German Rum Festival.

A post-tasting of this cool sample that I picked up at the GRF at the (very well-stocked) Rhumauction stand. Intense Jamaican with lots of power, pineapple and great spice. Great nose, nice palate ... a little too bitter and sharp-edged at the end.

Ein ganz schönes Brett! Alkohol erstaunlich gut eingebunden.

I‘m not quite as enthusiastic on this one… 🤔 Indeed lots of power and thick aromas. However, alcohol is too present on the nose as well as on the palate. This limits the score imho. Thanks for the set, Artur!

Sampled at the 13th German Rum Festival in Berlin: a real piece of work! Intense, powerful, Jamaica in its purest form! Thanks to RhumAuction for having this piece with them and letting us try it!
