Tasted at German rum festival Very good rum. Balanced taste. Definitely recommend trying it. Easy sipping rum.

Aquavitae Mülheim October 2025. Next up is Ron del Artesano. Here an 18-year-old, which also comes across rather sweet. Otherwise, it has a good whisky touch, but also tastes of leather and wood.

Tasting at the 14th German Rum Festival: Maybe it was also because it was one of the last samples I had in the glass on Saturday and the palate was already a bit tired. But not much happens there: very dry and boringly one-dimensional.

This rum is really very dry. It goes so far that it reminds me of scotch. The Tawny finish hardly comes through. I just miss the rum here. The 58% bottling is much more pleasing.

I would say you can taste all 3 cask types, the virgin oak unfortunately made it a bit uninteresting for me - basically the base is a great rum though.
