Retasting this one bacause i got some free samples and it's still really good in my opinion. This time I just rested it for a good while instead of adding water and it opens up after 30 minutes or so. This is a kick ass rum. Fruity from nose to finish. I had to add a few drops of water to get all the flavours on my palate, but it doesn't really need water. Great rum at a great price tag.

Such an underrated rum! The Jamaican funk present in this un-aged pot still rum is stunning! Grilled/candied banana along with tropical fruits mixed with fresh agricole. A hint of olive brine and some anise... awesome as a sipping rum (with ice) if you fancy being blown away but it shines in cocktails too as the alcohol level is tamed but the flavour profile remains!

Very powerful rum that offers us a lot of things with a very complete aromatic palette.This rum is extremely empyreumatic (Esters / Rubber / Solvent / Smoke / Cardboard / Copper) but it also surprises with a very nice greediness (Pastry (Crème brûler) / Almond / Gingerbread / Vanilla / Confit), with also the spicy banana of Jamaica (Clove / Nutmeg / Cinnamon) and a very vegetal side (Green / Green olive / Earthy / Fresh).in short a real raw power right out of Jamaica this thing! A killer!

Uuuh what a rum! The 75% are here really dominant and mixed with some fruits. I would recommend this rum for mixing, not for drinking it neat. I enjoyed this in the amazing Bar XXL with the very sympatic bartender 💪🏻

Diluted this one down to ~57% abv and let rest for a few minutes. It sips well to my tastes. Floral bananas with some vegetal olive notes behind that.

Nose: First of all, I am surprised by the mildness. My strongest rum so far and even after a few deep breaths you remain sitting on the chair. Clear glue and ester notes but also a pronounced fruitiness to be heard. Sugar cane and spice bring to mind Agricole or Clairin.Palate: Wow, this is fierce. The mildness on the nose is forgotten here. The alcohol literally floods the palate. It takes a while to taste the fruity flavors. In combination with the herbal notes, the rum is reminiscent of Agricole or Clairin. Finish: fruity, vegetal (olive) and smoky.Conclusion: mild and inviting on the nose, the rum lets its true character out on the palate. To drink neat therefore rather unsuitable. In fruity fresh cocktails but certainly a real taste guarantor.
