Red-wine fans curious what a rum does in an Amarone cask should try this one. A full load of red wine leads the nose, with cinnamon, rose and gentle wood behind it; the palate starts sweet and fruity, then turns spicy, woody and slightly smoky. One taster even caught almond and amaretti. At 47% the alcohol is well integrated, though a few wished for a touch more punch.

A nice afternoon rum with a piece of cake. 😊 A full load of strong red wine runs through the nostrils, along with lovely rose scent, cinnamon, light spice and gentle wood. Friends of red wine finish will get their money's worth here. Sweet and fruity on the tongue, that's how it starts. Spices and wood join in and it finishes with a certain smokiness and a warming sharpness. It could have a bit more punch, but all in all a nice handcrafted product.

And the last Feller, great rums I have to say, I like them. This one is better again. Red wine is of course the outstanding feature here, otherwise still quite spicy and woody, especially cinnamon is recognizable. Keep it up Feller 👍

#5332 19.05.2025 Running a few samples while listening to some nice EDM. Nose Light wood, wine, grapes, spice, faint floral. Palate Round, wine, light wood, spice, light floral, light raisin. Finish Medium long, warm, light wood, wine, cinnamon, light floral. Empty glass Cinnamon, Amarone wine, light dried fruit. Needs to rest for a while for the ABV to settle properly. I really like Amarone and there is a hint of it in the profile. German Rum Fest 2024 sample.

Lovely and promising on the nose (Cognac?), but strangely on the palate I get more of a whisky-finish impression. Woody, dry finish. Not exactly easy-drinking, but interesting. Worth trying to expand your flavor profile.

Interesting creation. The nose finds marzipan, nice sweetness, a bit of cinnamon and light wood. On the palate, I get the taste of Amarettini and light cinnamon. Alcohol well integrated. Quite exciting..

Tasty drop, but compared to the sherry and the port, it could use a bit more power. A good product, but I miss some depth.
