8,7:On the nose, medicinal notes like esters, nail polish and glue, fruits with citrus like an orange, banana, pineapple, bourbon barrel mark quote obvious, as there are also roasted notes like caramel, perhaps cream toffee and spices. On aeration, tons of new fruits arrive, now more overripe with strawberry, cherry, green fruits and lemon peel.We could notice very tempting pastry, roasted nuts and grassy molasses. 8,6:On the palate, the attack is sweet and creamy with roasted wood notes like pastry, biscuits, cream toffee, then marzipan, spicy with vanilla, cinammon and pepper, fruity with overripe tropical fruits like banana and pineapple, citrus, strawberry and cherry, balanced, delicious, buttery and the molasses is herbaceous, grassy, vegetal. 8,7:The finish is long, oily, slightly tannic, metallic, with roasted notes pairing delicious tropical fruits. #5253 16.04.2025 Tasting in Blåvand with Fabian. Nose Fresh, light wood, cherry, light cinnamon, faint marzipan, light pineapple. Palate Naturally sweet, light wood, light roasted, light cinnamon, banana, light citrus, faint mint, oily. Finish Long and warm, naturally sweet, light wood, light marzipan, spice, oily, light banana.

I find this AP Liquid Pearls bottling the most successful. Despite the very clear sherry influence, Jamaica DNA is still recognizable and gives the final touch. Tropical fruit and esters are still noticeable.

Exhibition review Village'25 Nuremberg Never heard of this series from Glenfahrn before. A nice new discovery that is definitely interesting. I enjoyed the rum itself and it has good potential.

Still very pleasant on the nose with nice fruity notes of dark fruits, but on the palate rough, woody and the alcohol, despite the sherry-cask finish, only moderately integrated, does the rest. This is not really successful

So we also get the penultimate Liquid Peaels rated. Relatively thin on the nose. We have wood and tropical fruits like cherry here. On the palate it is then very woody and spicy. Pineapple and cherry can be recognized.

Nice low ester Jamaican. I'm wavering between low ester Hampden and Worthy Park. Ultimately, I lean more towards Worthy Park.

Another interesting bottling from Glenfahrn from Switzerland. The rum is harmonious, feels round and has no edges. The sherry finish is clear. Not particularly complex, spicy sweet without Jamaica funk.

Village Nuremberg 2025 review I think the sherry finish on this low ester (I think it might be an OWH) works beautifully on the nose. Smells creamy like cherry and banana as well as oatmeal. Not quite the same on the palate, but still good. Price for under 100 fully OK. Palate not too sweet, not a dank barrel. Solid

A sour cherry bomb that is unmatched. In nose and palate it stands out strongly from the much more pronounced cask aromas in other bottlings. Besides cherry and cask, spices and pineapple can be detected on the palate. Alcohol is excellently integrated. For me so far the best bottling from AP Liquid Pearls.

Nothing spectacular, rather a weaker Hampden for me. The sherry finish is quite dominant, alcohol is not perfectly integrated. Not really bad, but somehow it doesn't convince me.

Smells quite molassesy, esters, pineapple. Taste very mild, creamy. Molasses, overripe fruit, pineapple. Finishes molasses, marzipan, pineapple, vanilla, a kick of tannins, spice and then it fits into a very hilarious vanilla creaminess.

Great, full Worthy Park nose. Banana, black tea, crème brûlée, all there. The palate doesn't disappoint either, taste-wise like the nose, only even more intense. Some vanilla joins in. The alcohol is well integrated. No menthol like e.g. in TWJ. In the medium-long finish, it fades out nicely. No surprises, the only surprise with this rum is how round and balanced it is (for me, but at the same time not boring). For me, a really nice, round, successful bottling!

Left to sit for a long time after pouring because this rum changes quite a bit. The nose has a nice cherry note, sweet, spicy, and slightly estery. On the palate, a creamy mouthfeel with ripe fruit, cherry, molasses, and spice. The finish is medium-length with a short marzipan note. All in all, very smooth and spicy. A fine bottling that's fun to enjoy.

Quite the nice lovely worthy park. Loads of banana and only a bit of sherry cask. With 59% and 8yo this is quite a successful banana WP. Something like this should be an original bottling because at an affordable price this is a killer
