8,5:On the nose, roasted wood notes, bourbon with butterscotch, yellow fruits, toasted coconut, nuts and vanilla, fresh and round, is the first impression we get. On aeration, various fruits with citrus, apricots, cherry and dried fruits arise, some are candied, there is herbaceous and flowery molasses, smoky tones. 8,3:On the palate, the attack is sweet with roasted wood notes like butterscotch, roasted nuts, biscuits, quite spicy with vanilla and pepper, later ginger, fruity with citrus like orange peel, yellow fruits and coconut, toasted, slightly metallic and medicinal with solvents, the molasses is herbaceous...shortly, the bourbon barrel impact is strong. 8,2:The finish is medium long, dry, oily, sweet with butterscotch, vanilla, the fruits are yellow, citrus and tropical with pineapple, as the molasses is fresh with tea, slightly herbaceous. This bottling doesn't quite hit my taste. Reminds me strongly of the Spanish style... and here quite one-dimensional. Slight spice, vanilla from the cask, and sugar. After some time in the finish, a slight bitter note also appears.

Sorry, but this one is really too sweet for me right now. Honey, caramel and vanilla on the nose and quite intense. On the palate we mostly have sweet notes like plain sugar. Okay, that’s it 😀

Fair evaluation Village'25 Nuremberg In my opinion, another successful bottling here. Despite the young age, it can already do quite a bit and doesn't have to hide. The bottler Glenfahrn from Switzerland, unknown to me until now, really pulled something good out of the hat here.

This series couldn't convince me. This one is rather one of the better ones, but even here not really round, not a really successful finish. Alcohol moderately integrated. The rum remains hidden under the aromas. English Harbour can do so much more, a pity.

#5248 16.04.2025 Tasting with Fabian in Blåvand. Nose Fresh, round, light wood, faint smoke, faint herbal, light citrus, light caramel. Palate Fresh, round, light wood, light roasted, light herbal, spice, light spicy, light pineapple. Finish Medium long, fresh, light oily, medium spicy, light pineapple, light cumin, spice.

On the nose, I immediately get a nice load of coconut and vanilla. On the palate, again coconut and vanilla right away, alongside some wood. Hardly any bitterness. In the finish, coconut and vanilla linger at first, then a woody note at the end, but without bitterness. Not bad at all, this thing! Won't win any awards, but for me, it can hold its own against a Doorly's 14.

A rum with strong barrel/bourbon influence. The citrus notes detectable on the nose disappear on the palate; the caramel is only recognizable due to the sweetness. The persistent roasted and spicy aromas are very pleasant. The finish is relatively weak. Alcohol well integrated.

Yeah, quite okay. Comes quite simply on the nose, light sweetness and vanilla, leaning towards bourbon cask. Tastes like that too, plus cask and a buttery cookie note like shortbread fingers. Stable, but no highlight.

Quite the nice mixture of British going Spaniards. English harbour on crack. Still there are some limitations with this kind of style that will never go into greatness but still this produces a more than solid experience
