Almost nobody here has a good word for this one. The nose starts fruity but quickly turns to solvent and something plasticky, and the palate follows — sweet, chemical, artificially fruity, with one taster comparing it to blue bubble gum. Heavily sweetened and liqueur-like at 38%. A couple of members rescued it in hot mulled cider, but neat it reads as an artificial oddity, not a rum.

5,8:On the nose, solvents and esters, synthetic, fruity with tropical, citrus fruits fruits and berries, the molasses is vegetal, fresh with tea, the wood is roasted, sweet with caramel, spicy with baking spices, winterly, gummi candies are obvious. 5,2:On the palate the attack is sweet, sugared, synthetic, chemical, plastic, winterly with various roasted wood notes like caramel, dark chocolate, nuts, spicy with baking spices, vanilla, as the fruits are tropical. 5:The finish is sweet, dry, thick, chemical, candied with citrus fruits, roasted wood notes, spicy.

First of all, a BIG THANK YOU to TheDunderHut for being part of the Wird&Blind set again. Together with DomM we took on this task. Unfortunately, no unicorn was included, but we tried great rare things that you don't usually get your hands on so easily. The only thing I really missed were the stories about each individual rum from the splitter.

Artur's Weird & Blind Tasting, thanks a lot for letting me be part of it. I really find it crazy where Artur always digs up these "treasures." This one is a no-go, very artificial and chemical, caramel and cream toffee are also noticeable.

Arturs Weird & Blind Tasting #7: if it gets any worse I should stop now. Super artificial/chemical from start to finish. You taste a lot of sweetness and some caramel. Alcohol not noticeable

Not really a tasting. On a Christmas ski holiday with hot mulled apple by the campfire: What could be wrong with that. Definitely makes your head spin and it wasn't made for anything more.

This rum is dominated by artificial, almost chemical aromas. Especially at the beginning, there's a lot of sharp glue. That unpleasantly lingers on the palate as well. Otherwise very sweet, somewhat spicy and fruity.

Arturs Weird and Blind tasting Nummer 7. Ziemlich süß und auch schwer im Blindtasting irgendwo einzuordnen, aber mir kam sofort eine Erinnerung aus der Kindheit an eine bestimmte Hubba Bubba Sorte (Blaue Dose mit pinken Meterkaugummi).

Weird and Blind #7 Received a really nice set from member TheDunderHut, where you never know what you're getting. There are some nice, special rums in there that I wouldn't normally try. I really enjoyed it. This sample: artificially sweet and fruity, chemicals. It goes downhill quickly.
