The DOK finish is well integrated, but I don't understand the intention behind it because it somewhat covers the base spirit.

Very difficult to classify this rum at all. You can hardly recognize anything of the Bielle. The DOK finish overlays pretty much everything here. Blindly, you could almost guess a Hampden with a Bielle finish. In my opinion, the finish overlays pretty much everything and doesn't really complement the base, which in my opinion prevents it from getting a higher rating.

Nose obviously Hampden And I can't catch Bielle.... Maybe vaguely the wood of Bielle.... Alcohol well integrated, fresh mouth But I don't understand the reason for this bottling In persistence the Bielle character comes out in the long run But I don't understand why I should first catch the DOK notes...

As always for me, BIELLE hits the nail on the head. It's dry and sweet at the same time, spicy and fresh at the same time, and all in fine balance.
