The port finish is clearly present, but well and pleasantly integrated. Alcohol very well integrated.

Un rhum de l’embouteilleur suisse Origin R. Un nez très fruité avec des fruits rouges, de l’ananas, de la papaye, un côté pâtissier aussi avec du massepain et un léger goudron. La bouche est fraîche, droite et sans faux goût. Les fruits sont là mais moins présents qu’au nez. Un côté beurré, lactique gâche un peu le plaisir. La finale est moyennement longue, on sent le Porto assez nettement. Le bois est très bien intégré. Au final quel est l’interêt de cette sorte “d’arômatisation” ? Cacher des défauts ? Pourtant, il faut avouer, qu’elle est ici plutôt réussie.

Nose of red fruits, marzipan, on the palate the wood is tannic, rather aggressive, finally holds a lot of alcohol and wood and fades away as quickly as it came, by far not the best success of Origine R...
