It’s a blend of pot and column still rum, which I can’t recommend. The nose is floral and woody with scents of grass and young wood. At the palate it’s fruity, floral and woody with flavors of coconut, grass, rubber and bourbon. The finish is medium long.

Fand ihn im ersten Eindruck echt schlecht, nachdem er etwas geatmet hat, wurde es besser. In der Nase sehr künstlich und junges Holz. Im Gaumen ist er sehr kräftig und ein Hauch von Vanille und Schokolade. Alkohol ist nicht gut eingebunden.

I like to use this rum in a pineapple mixer. 5 cl of rum 5-10 cl of fresh pineapple juice A very refreshing drink. If you want it a bit more fresh, try to add a squeeze of lime.

That’s really not a great one… nose is quite uninteresting but especially the taste is not enjoyable - even for discovery purposes. Bland, still some alcohol / I would stay away for this one even if from Fiji

Das Fiji-Profil ist vor allem in der Nase sehr typisch präsent. Am Gaumen wird das Ganze dann durch Vanillezucker ergänzt, der - für Fiji - etwas ungewöhnlich daherkommt. Finde ich das Ganze als Fiji auf Einstiegslevel ansprechend, da die grundsätzliche Komplexität der South Pacific-Releases vorhanden ist, gleichzeitig aber nicht gänzlich überfordern. Sehr solider Einstiegsrum.

Interessant. Nase bringt etwas Klebstoff was nach ein paar Minuten im Glas ganz angenehm ist. Am Gaumen leider sehr dünn. Dafür eine schöne Rauchigkeit im Finish.
