Great rum! The nose is dominated by dates/ prunes/ raisin notes which are followed up by some sweetness (marmalade). The palate is both sweet and smoky. It has the dried fruits, wood, leather and licorice. The finish is sweet and oaky.

Well this is bittersweet - this tastes like DDL (what I imagine a high ABV version of El Dorado 12 to taste like) Caramel, Demerara sugar and toffee like sweetness but with more dark red fruit notes coming out to play This has opened up nicely! I can actually smell different notes and most of them carry over to the palate - feels thick and oily in the mouth Just a shame this sold out practically as it launched - if anyone has bought this, don’t keep it to sell on! Open it and you’ll forever thank yourself you got own and try this little cracker. Not quite 9/10 or above but damn close

Very suttle flavours of fruit and sweet. Easy sipping and not very complex but flavours are there. Finishes with a cola taste and feel on the tongue. Smooth and no after burn.

This is the best Guyanese rum I have had. It is smooth, sweet and sips easy. It is wild that I do not see it talked about so much.
