If you like sweet rum and liqueur, you'll get your money's worth here. Hints of cocoa beans. When I only drank sweet rum, this one together with Riise and Santos Dumont was the ultimate.

Der Ratu Signature Blend 8 Jahre ist ein ausgesprochen süßer, fast dessertartiger Rumlikör aus Fiji. Orange, dunkle Schokolade und kräftiger Kaffee bestimmen das Profil, begleitet von Kokos, Karamell und würziger Eiche. Samtig und vollmundig am Gaumen, allerdings deutlich liköriger als klassischer Rum. Der überraschend frische Zitrusabgang bildet einen schönen Kontrast zur üppigen Süße. Für mich als Liebhaber von trockneren Rums ist er deutlich zu süß und eignet sich lediglich als Digestif.
