This rum from the Seychelles is made from sugar cane juice, but they don’t call it Agricole cause they say that their methods are different. I think that the best thing about this rum is the aroma which is very nice, in the mouth it’s then quite bland but easy to drink.

A disappointing rum. The nose seems promising with notes of glue, fruit, spices, and wood, before completely falling into oblivion once in the mouth. Very bland and evasive on the palate, one might mistake it for caramelized water. The finish, equally unmemorable, hardly reveals anything.

I actually didn’t expect anything good from this rum, but surprisingly it tasted good. A slight sweetness and vanilla note, I really didn’t expect that. I’m satisfied for a rather cheap rum.

Sehr zahmer Geruch. Leicht holzig, leicht würzig, aber alles sehr wenig intensiv. Geschmacklich ergeben sich leichte Trockenfrüchte und Nüsse. Aber es wirkt irgendwie verwässert. Der Abgang ist sehr kurz. Für ca 50€ für eine 1 Liter Flasche ist der Rum eigentlich recht passabel.

I can't fully agree with the previous reviews. Sure, it's certainly no revelation and definitely not a price-performance hit, but it still has something. Light coffee notes, sour on the tongue, relatively woody and spicy (not unpleasant) – you find quite a bit. Definitely okay(+).

27.9.2024 Cubana Bar Brno: scent is gentle, you can smell coconut, vanilla. Taste is bland, but after swallowing it tingles the tongue, a bit smoky.

I believe it is my first rum from the Seychelles. A little oak in the aroma, and something more I am unable to place. The oak continues with the flavor, and maybe some citrus. There is some burn, but not too much.
