Colour: Amber. Aroma: More delicate, fruit, vanilla, wood, molasses, delicate florality. Flavour: Fruit, oiliness, onset of strength, spice, vanilla, light wood, slight resinousness. Departure strong, molasses and spices, strong warmth with pepperiness on the tongue.

22.03.2025 Retasting at Whisky Watcher tasting. ---------------------- #4846 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, light, fruity, light prunes, faint honey, light wood, sugarcane, light peaches, spice. Palate Round, light wood, faint roasted, fruity, light ginger, pineapple, spice, light citrus, faint caramel. Finish Medium long, light wood, fruits, light caramel, light sugarcane, light herbal, light earthy. I had expected a far better quality thinking about it's a Velier, but sometimes you just get a bit disappointed. Not a bad rum but I think the price tag will outperform the quality.

Road Rummers S8 T4 Velier tasting The only one I might buy from the Alex Webb series. If you like fruity rums like Foursquare, you are going to like this. But its one dimensional over the whole line. No complexity, just good fruity rum. Endless pear finish... If you need your vitamins, this is it.

Strong fruity Australia Beenleigh. Sweet tangerine, minty, with well integrated alcohol. It doesn't have the depth of some of the old Guyanese, Trinidadian or Jamaican, but it's good and I enjoyed it.

21/02/25: Velier tasting @ TastToe. This is quality stuff. I always get a huge pear/apple note when tasting Beenleigh, and this was also the case with this one. Not super complex or challenging, but just decent, tasty stuff. Recommended.

Very typical and surprisingly round young beenleigh. You can definitely do it! Nice fruitiness paired with ginger spiciness and a slightly metallic note in the finish...the typical pear note is also there full broadside.
