Un rhum dégusté au Whisky Live à Paris en 2024. Un parfait équilibre entre les notes d’atelier mécanique et les fruits. Un nez large et profond. Les fruits dominent en bouche, mais le goudron et le caoutchouc sont là pour donner de la profondeur. La finale est très longue et laisse un goût délicieux à mesure que les fruits disparaissent et que les notes d’atelier mécanique se fassent plus lourdes. Un très beau Caroni, le prix excessif m’a découragé d’en acheter une bouteille.

#4844 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Light, wood, light roasted, spice, light cherry, light tar, faint rubber, balanced. Palate Balanced, wood, light roasted, faint smoke, light cherry, faint dried fruit, light tar, faint rubber, faint chocolate, spice. Finish Medium to long, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, faint rubber, light tar, spice. Once again a Caroni with a pretty high price tag. Pretty good bottling and if you get the chance you should try it.
