Bought this as my first own bottle of rum, and I’m more than happy with my purchase! Tasted others before and this one is easily one of the better I have tasted! It’s sweet, fruity and very clean (maybe flat) but fantastic taste.

In der nase ist er nicht gerade harmonisch. Er riecht leicht alkoholisch und die fruchtnote ist stechend . Im Mund ist er dann sehr wässrig es kommt etwas rote frucht aber die Haselnuss lässt sich nur erahnen . Der abgang ist dann auch schnell wieder weg . Für mich ganz klar keine Empfehlung .

Das Kastanienfass bringt Noten von Kirsche, Nüssen, Karamell und würzigem Holz mit, die allerdings nicht immer harmonisch wirken und Komplexität und Tiefe vermissen lassen. Durchaus ein eigenständiger Charakter und interessant zum Probieren, aber keine Abfüllung, die überzeugt.

Mainly fruit and wood on the nose, meaning something is missing here to achieve a certain balance. Similar on the palate, you clearly taste the barrel aging, while other aromas hide, probably also due to the low ABV.
