Agricole drinkers who chase the fresh, green side of white rum will feel at home here. The nose is almost purely floral and vegetal, with fresh-cut cane, lime and a whiff of anise that gives it a cooling, almost minty lift. The palate stays fresh and herbal, with white pepper and a faint iodine edge. Elegant and fine at 52%, but a couple of Macouba regulars wanted more raw cane.

#5922 05.11.2025 Relaxing with a few samples after work to the beats of Oursiders and Starlab. Nose Medium intense, fruity, sugarcane, citrus, light floral, light anise, light grass. Palate Mediium intense, light grass, citrus, light floral, spice, balanced, sugarcane, faint iodine, light herbs. Finish Medium long, fresh, oily, citrus, light floral, sugarcane, faint herbs. Empty glass Citrus, sugarcane, light herbs, light iodine. Surprisingly good rum looking at the price tag.

On the nose, menthol or anise, floral and vegetal notes. Palate similar to the nose, very vegetal and floral, white pepper but lacks fresh cane to my taste, I love Macoubas so I had quite high expectations. It's very decent in ti punch but remains below the other Macoubas. Very decent though

Bought and tasted this very nice Agricole Blanc in Spain. It’s produced from blue cane and the ABV is reduced during 9 months with water from the nearby Mount Pelee. The nose is floral, fruity and spicy with scents of fresh cut cane, lime and anise. At the palate it’s round, balanced, fresh, fruity, vegetal, oily and spicy with flavors of citrus, grass, iodine and pepper. The finish is rather long.

This one is similar to the Clairin just tasted. The nose is exclusively herbal and floral. The palate is also very herbal and floral, except that various herbs are also present here.

Tasted at Rhum Fest Paris, partial notes. I really enjoyed this white, very fresh, a lovely vegetal cane, a little citrus, pear, light white pepper. A pleasant texture. It's an elegant, fine white.

A very original white rum, marked by freshness. The label says 'floral, peppery and aniseed notes,' maybe it's the anise that gives this freshness. The palate is very unusual and pleasant, again this freshness, I'd say almost blue mint. Freshness continues on the medium length with a bit more spice. A great success in originality for me, I recommend it.
