#6062 13.12.2925 Need to clean up my palate after door number 13 of my Christmas Calendar. Listening to some new Trance and Techno tracks. Nose Fresh, intense, herbs, sugarcane, citrus, olive, spice, light anise. Palate Oily, intense, warm, fruits, citrus, spice, sugarcane, light anise, herbs, olive, light salt, faint grass. Finish long and warm, fruits, berries, spice, light olive, light salt. Empty glass Olive, pineapple, berries, light apple.

Watch out with this Père Labat who doesn't hold back. The nose is soaked with the agricultural mark, its greenery and freshness with notes of grass, sugarcane, and floral notes. Chili, lime, and passion fruit are also present. A powerful, very intense profile but with a beautiful aromatic palette nonetheless. The attack on the palate packs a punch with its watts. We have a very powerful rum that lets the chili and alcohol express themselves, all covered by a grassy and flowery meadow that brings some freshness. Tropical fruits and citrus soften the dynamite and bring some roundness. The profile is good but might deserve better alcohol integration in my opinion. The finish is very long, dry, and spicy, fueled by agricultural greenery and fruits, notably mango, passion fruit, and lime. You can still feel the rum passing down the esophagus. A pure rum with a serious charge that can spice up cocktails without any problem.
