Tasted at Rhumfest Paris 2026. Depaz is one of my favorite distilleries from Martinique, and this private cask once again represents the brand very well. The rum is very well balanced and the aromas range between toasted wood, a slightly vinous cask, dried fruits, spices, and orange, which remains a signature of this brand. The alcohol is very well integrated.

#6902 10.06.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after picking up my wife from work. Watching the TV series Evil Lives Here on HBO. A very nice rum with an attractive price tag at release. Medium intense profile with nice green notes, fruits, roasted wood and some mineral notes.
