Very beautiful bottle, design, the nose and the color are top. Unfortunately, on the palate, it's something very flat, quite sweet with some spices and light.

It’s much too sweet for my taste and without the complexity and balance that my favorites among the sweet Spanish styled have. The nose is dominated by vanilla and sugar as it is at the palate together with toffee.

Nose: Powerful. Lot of sweet fruits, vanilla, caramel. But still not bad. Feeling the tobacco leaf, sandal wood & sesame. Taste: very sweet, to much brown sugar, some cherries, peach, vanilla, woody, marmalade, maple syrup & cinnamon. Aftertaste: Medium-short. Little bitter, dark chocolate, raisin, nuts, figs & prune. Still lot of caramel. Simple Spanish style rum. But nose not bad.

Sweet nose: vanilla/caramel/orange candy Palate (too) sweet: round/vanilla Finish (too) short: brown sugar/spices Rum unfortunately too flat and not complex enough. It resembles more a sweetened drink than a spirit worthy of its name! We have no precise information on this, but this Ron must be sweetened with sugar (and not a little!). Let's not be sadomasochistic, many of us, when discovering rum, have gone through this sweet rum phase... Let's also note the glass stopper lol

I honestly don't get it as to why the rating is so low for this one. I think it is an honest, fine sweet-ish rum with pleasant body. You get lots of wood, dried fruits such as raisins, caramel, dark chocolate, nuts and most importantly Sherry. I like it very much. The only downside is nose- which is meh.

#6670 21.04.2026 Running a few samples after my bike training while listening to Soniq Vision, Armin van Buuren and Dirty Signal on Spotify. This is a very very sweet rum with a lot of fruit, caramel and nutts in the profile.

The rum is sharp at first, with strong alcohol presence, pleasantly warming with not very pronounced notes, but you can find raisins, wood, dried fruit (plums/figs) and a taste that reminds me most of whisky or red wine. I would describe the rum as medium sweet. The finish is medium length, pleasantly warming but unfortunately flavor-wise flat and empty. Overall, I consider this bottle average, flavor-wise uninteresting.

Bit of a sugar bomb, almost like an old fashioned in a glass. Hard to choose this over other rums in any capacity (sipping or mixing). Not a bad intro rum, but would choose others.

A little cinnamon with some oak on the aroma. Just a slight cinnamon flavor, but not enough to feel like they added something extra. Also, some caramel, and my wife thought butterscotch. A hint of oak. Just a bit of a burn.
