08.08.2016 Small tasting with old friends on vacation. Notes Medium dark to dark in colour. Nose Round, wood, light smoke, floral, fruity, light caramel. Palate Round, oily, warm, earthy, wood, roasted, cherry, earthy, light olive. Finish Medium long, wood, earthy, roasted, light marzipan, dried fruit.

Tag 18 im Weihnachtskalender. Blind! Unverkennbar spanischer Stil. Der beißende Alkohol deutet auf viel % und weniger Jahre hin. Nase: zunächst fruchtig-blumig-würzig-süß und auch metallisch-frisch. Honig und Vanille. Der Alkohol beißt ordentlich. Dann kommen Orange, Papaya, Pfirsich und ein Wind Rosine. Und wieder Süße, Zuckersirup. Hinten rauchig und trocken holzig, fast sauer und wieder Vanille. Gaumen: sauer-holzig-bitter und salzig. Leichte schärfe. Etwas Sauerkirsche und schwarze Johannisbeere. Hinten Vanille und holzig mit etwas Tabak. Braucht Zeit im Glas.
