Powerful, complex rum with notes of date, fig, and dark chocolate. Nutty-spicy taste with syrup, chili, and cinnamon. The long finish brings smoke, tobacco, and leather. Not a rum for beginners – deep, dark, and clearly shaped by the sherry cask.

Very good rum with a well balanced sherry influence. Sweet (candied), woody and fruity (fig) on the nose. Sherry, dates, figs, chocolate and nutty on the palate. Dark chocolate and brown sugar to finish.

Only had this a few days but it's shot to one of my favourite rums of the past few years. Punch of flavour, drinks very easy despite it's 62.3% abv. Tastes somewhere between a sherried Foursquare and a TDL - love it!
