Wow ! Leckerer Rum kann also immer noch ein gutes PLV haben ! .... und ich hätte ihn fast nicht gekauft, als ich gesehen habe, dass in der Flasche nur 50cl sind - aber da war ich zum Glück schon in der Bestellabwicklung :3 In der Nase kommt dieser Rum gleich mit etwas, das mich total an Tequila/Agavenbrand und Erdbeerjoghuhrt erinnert und deswegen musste er auch umgehend mit dem 2004er Lous Pibous Armagnac zusammen getasted werden und ich muss sagen, da sind meiner subjektiven Wahrnehmung nach einige Parallelen 😌😊 Beim ersten Schluck war ich nich bei , Ok - ein Angostura aber mittlerweile bin ich schon bei, ich brauche noch eine Flasche angelangt 😇😝 Fairerweise habe ich zugegebenermaßen noch nicht so viel TDL Erfahrung - aber für den Preis finde ich die Aromendichte/Intensivität enorm - da können manche 200€ Velierabfüllungen bei weitem nicht mit halten! Das Prominenteste Aroma ist hier für mich, wie ich es von Angostura kenne, Orange - diese OrangeatOrange. Mit einer Mischung aus Treibstoff, etwas Leder und etwas Tabak wird das hier aber für mich zu einer, für Rum einzigartigen, Tequilanote, die mich bei oben genannter Armagnac schon zum Armagnacfan gemacht hat. Dießer Rum macht wirklich Lust darauf, weitere TDLs zu probieren! Und noch als Randnotiz - ich hatte selten eine Flasche, wo die Buchenholzkappe derart glatt geschliffen war .( Für mich Positiv wahrgenommen) Ich mag die Flaschenform, das Ettikett könnte evtl noch mehr her machen ( Jammern auf hohem Niveau bei dem Plv, das würde ich da auch in ner PET Flasche abgefüllt nehmen 😂)

Velmi jemná vůně sušeného ovoce a vanilky. V pozadí trochu bylinek/květin a karamelu. Chuťově to taky není moc vzrušující. Nálož vanilky, poměrně dost tříslovin. Potěší červené plody. Závěr pokračuje v podobném duchu. Fajn rum, ale nemá čím překvapit.

Not a complexity monster - but nevertheless exciting in its flavor spectrum. Heavy tropical fruit sweetness, light toasted wood influences, caramel and a discreet milk aroma provide sufficient variety and exemplify the diversity of TDL profiles.

Teer, dreckige Noten, dazu dann aber eine karamellige leichte süße, dazu etwas metallisches und dunkle Schokolade habe ich jetzt auch. Beim letzten Schluck kam noch Orangen Noten dazu, leicht bitter. Eventuell gibt man dem Rum etwas Zeit im Glas.

Wenn ich eine Einsteigerfaßstärke empfehlen sollte, dann vielleicht diesen Rum. Er ist rund und der Alkohol toll eingebunden und trotzdem bringt er eine intensive Tiefe mit, die man in Standardabfüllungen nicht findet. In der Nase werden Erinnerungen an Skeldon wach: Schokolade, verbranntes Karamell und eine milde Nussigkeit. Leider ist sie etwas zurückhaltend. Im Mund noch dunkler, fast ohne jede Frucht; etwas Süße, röstige Schokolade und weiche Tannine, leicht bitteres Karamell und geröstete Nüsse. Wenn man die minzige, dreckige TDLs sucht, wird man enttäuscht. Nach dem dritten Abend im Glas habe ich mehr Gefallen an ihm gefunden, als ich beim ersten Glas gedacht habe. Ein TDL von der spanischen Seite. Nicht mein Favorit aber schönes Easy Sipping Richtung Enlish Harbour High Congeners.

First nosing instantly screams Angostura to me. Easy going Spanish style rum around cocoa / coffee / caramel notes. It’s nice enough but nothing special either.

Il est bien amélioré avec le temps dans la bouteille mais reste trop gourmand pour moi. Les marqueurs fruits rouges et fraîcheur sont là mais accompagnés par du gras sucré lourd très pâtissier.

Blindverkostung: eine leichte spanische Nase mit Karamell, Vanille, Tabak und etwas Rauch – nicht so ganz spektakulär. Unspektakulär geht es ebenso am Gaumen weiter: hier kommt noch eine angenehme Süße, Leder und Eiche dazu mit ungefähr 55%. Die Süße ist für mein Empfind einen Tick drüber, so dass ich mir hier vorstellen könnte, dass entweder etwas Zucker im Spiel ist oder der Rum in einem süßen Fass gefinisht wurde. Der Abgang ist kurz bis mittellang und eher nichts sagend. Kein schlechter Spaniener, aber auch kein besonders guter Rum – eher ein Rum fürs BBQ mit Freunden ;-). Den Rauch aus der Nase kenne ich von Panama Rums und ähnliche Notes habe ich mir bereits zum S.B.S Panama 2006 gemacht. Ein Crosstasting zeigt Ähnlichkeiten in der Nase aber große Unterschiede am Gaumen, so dass es nicht der selbe Rum sein kann. Nichtsdestotrotz könnte er aus dem selben Batch stammen – evtl. mit einem Finish. 73 Punkte
