Aged 16 years and bottled at 62%, it's woody and full, with cherries and red fruit up front before oak, black pepper and a bit of bitterness take over. Colour beautiful mahogany. Aroma technical, very pleasant for me. Lovely heavy flavour, the colour suggests wood and there is a pleasant smell. This is a rum to my taste, heavy and woody with a long finish. Someone said it transitions to agricole easily and maybe it does but only in a positive way. It's my first Ten Cane so I can't compare but the success in flavor for me is like RS Appleton 2007. SUPER!

An interesting technical rum from the closed TenCane distillery formerly owned by LVMH (Moet Hennessy). Right after smelling it, the aroma evokes heavy red wine, cognac, spices, burnt honey. On the palate, burnt honey, red fruits, heavy spices, harsh red wine come out again. All rounded off with technical notes that come out more on the finish.

Vysoce prijemny a krasny rum, technicky nalozena vune, spousty dreva rekl bych az spaleneho s velkou davkou koreni. A ta Barva ❤️Chut spaleny dub konak traviny to mne celkem udivilo mirna stiplavost jak po cerstve rozkousnutem pepri. Rozhodne Nekdy pozdeji se k nemu jeste vratim na prechutnani.
