Meine Nase nimmt kaum Alkohol war, dafür aber leichten Ester, frische Äpfel, Bananen und weitere nicht klar zuordenbare Früchte. Nach ca. 1 Stunde Standzeit kommen Raucharomen zum Vorschein, die bei den anderen Abfüllungen nicht zu finden sind. Am Gaumen sind die Äpfel und Bananen aus der Nase klar zu erkennen. Aus den weiteren Früchten der Nase geht mindestens noch Ananas am Gaumen auf. Die Früchte gehen in pflanzliche Aromen, Medizin und Anis in den Abgang über, der sich trocken und mittellang bis kurz gestaltet. Im Abgang finde ich die Früchte aus der Nase/Gaumen kaum wieder. Ein guter Rum, aber leider nur ein halb so guter Jamaikaner. Marco von Barrel Aged Mind fand diese Trinkstärke-Variante besser als die Fassstärke-Variante, was für mich nachvollziehbar ist aber nicht ganz meinen Geschmack teilt.
